Effective Date: 09 September 2026

Legal Protection Services (“Company”, “LPS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides recovery assistance, documentation support, legal coordination and related professional support services to individuals, businesses, traders, companies and organisations.

By submitting an enquiry, making any payment, accepting a quotation/engagement, subscribing to any plan, sharing documents or otherwise availing our services, the client (“Client”, “you” or “your”) confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Nature of Services

1.1 The Company provides recovery assistance, case assessment, documentation support, communication/follow-up assistance and coordination with qualified advocates and other appropriate professionals wherever required.

1.2 Where a matter requires court filing, representation or appearance, the same may be undertaken by a qualified advocate or other legally authorised professional, as applicable.

1.3 The Company does not represent that every matter will necessarily result in recovery, settlement, favourable order, police action, court decree or any particular legal outcome.

1.4 Every matter shall be assessed on the basis of facts, documents, evidence, applicable law and the circumstances of the case.

2. Client’s Responsibility

2.1 The Client shall provide complete, true and accurate information and documents.

2.2 The Client shall not knowingly conceal any material fact, previous settlement, payment, legal proceeding, counterclaim, dispute or communication relevant to the matter.

2.3 The Company shall not be responsible for any loss, delay, rejection, adverse order or other consequence arising from incorrect, incomplete, misleading or suppressed information/documents supplied by the Client.

2.4 The Client shall remain responsible for the authenticity and legality of all documents and information supplied to the Company.

3. Acceptance of Case

3.1 Submission of an enquiry, WhatsApp message, email, telephone call or online form does not automatically create a professional engagement.

3.2 The Company reserves the absolute right, subject to applicable law, to accept, reject, suspend or discontinue any matter where the Company considers it inappropriate, commercially impractical, legally unsuitable, unsupported by sufficient evidence or otherwise not suitable for its services.

3.3 The Company may request additional documents or information before commencing or continuing any matter.

4. Processing Fee

4.1 The applicable processing fee shall be communicated to the Client before commencement of the agreed service.

4.2 Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, processing fees paid to the Company are non-refundable once the Company has commenced work, assessment, documentation, coordination or processing of the matter.

4.3 Any third-party expenses, advocate fees, court fees, stamp duty, government charges, courier charges, notarisation charges, documentation expenses or other external expenses shall be payable separately by the Client unless specifically included in the agreed package.

5. Success Fee / Recovery Charges

5.1 Where a success fee or recovery-based fee is applicable, the Client agrees to pay the agreed percentage/amount upon recovery, settlement, receipt, adjustment or realisation of the relevant amount.

5.2 For the purpose of calculating the success fee, “recovery” may include money directly received by the Client as well as an amount adjusted, settled, credited, waived against an outstanding liability or otherwise realised for the Client’s benefit.

5.3 The Client shall not intentionally bypass the Company after introduction, negotiation, documentation or other substantial work has been undertaken by the Company in relation to the matter in order to avoid agreed fees.

5.4 If the Client directly settles or receives payment from the opposite party after the Company’s work has commenced, the agreed success/recovery fee shall remain payable in accordance with the engagement terms.

6. Payment After Service / Delayed Payment

6.1 Where a Client has been specifically permitted to use a Pay After Service arrangement, the Client shall make payment strictly within the period specified in the invoice, engagement terms or written communication.

6.2 Unless a different period is expressly agreed in writing, the payment period shall be 30 days from the date on which the payment becomes due.

6.3 If any amount remains unpaid after the due date, the Client shall be liable to pay interest at the rate of 18% per annum on the outstanding amount, calculated from the date of default until actual payment, subject to applicable law.

6.4 The Company reserves the right to suspend further services, follow-ups, documentation, coordination or other assistance until all overdue amounts, applicable interest and other payable charges are cleared.

6.5 Acceptance of a delayed or part payment shall not constitute a waiver of the Company’s right to recover the remaining principal, interest, costs or other lawful charges.

7. Recovery of Legal and Related Expenses

Where legally recoverable and supported by applicable law and the facts of the matter, the Company may assist the Client in claiming reasonable legal expenses, recovery-related costs, interest, damages or other permissible amounts from the opposite party.

Any such amount shall ultimately depend upon the applicable law, contractual rights and the decision/order of the competent authority or court.

8. Interest Claims

Where the underlying transaction, agreement, invoice, applicable law or other legally recognised basis permits an interest claim, the Company may assist the Client in claiming such interest.

Any stated rate of interest, including 18%, shall be subject to the terms of the underlying transaction and applicable law and shall not be represented as an automatic entitlement in every matter.

9. No Guarantee of Recovery

9.1 The Company does not guarantee recovery of any specific amount.

9.2 The Company does not guarantee that a debtor will respond to a notice, make payment, settle the dispute, appear before an authority or court, or comply with any demand.

9.3 All recovery outcomes depend upon the facts, evidence, financial position and conduct of the opposite party, applicable law and decisions of competent authorities/courts.

9.4 Any statement regarding an expected recovery, interest, settlement or legal remedy shall not be construed as a guarantee of a particular result.

10. Legal Notice and Communication

10.1 Where appropriate, the Company may assist in preparing, coordinating or facilitating legal notices through qualified advocates/professionals.

10.2 A legal notice is a formal legal communication and does not by itself establish that the allegations contained therein will ultimately be accepted by a court or authority.

10.3 The Client shall review and confirm the material facts before any notice is issued on the Client’s behalf.

11. Advocate Coordination

11.1 Where court proceedings, legal representation, drafting requiring an advocate, appearance or other regulated legal services are required, the Company may coordinate with an appropriately qualified advocate.

11.2 Advocate fees, court fees and other professional charges may be separate unless specifically included in the written engagement.

11.3 The Company shall not be responsible for an advocate’s independent professional judgment, court decision, judicial outcome or action taken independently by such advocate.

12. Client’s Undertaking

The Client confirms that:

13. Confidentiality

The Company shall take reasonable steps to maintain confidentiality of information and documents provided by the Client.

However, information may be disclosed where disclosure is required for providing the agreed service, to advocates/professionals engaged for the matter, to authorities/courts, or where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.

The Company may suspend or terminate services where:

Termination shall not automatically extinguish any payment obligation that accrued before termination.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its personnel and authorised representatives against losses, claims, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from false information, fraudulent documents, unlawful instructions, concealment of material facts or breach of these Terms by the Client.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, CONTROVERSIES OR PROCEEDINGS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS, THE SERVICES, PAYMENTS, ENGAGEMENT, COMMUNICATIONS OR ANY TRANSACTION BETWEEN THE CLIENT AND THE COMPANY SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OF THE COMPETENT COURTS AT VADODARA, GUJARAT.

The Client expressly agrees that, where legally permissible, the courts at Vadodara, Gujarat shall be the agreed forum for resolution of disputes arising between the Client and the Company.

Nothing in this clause shall be interpreted as conferring jurisdiction on a court that otherwise lacks jurisdiction under applicable law.
